He is preceded in death by his parents Granny and Pa; wife Carolyn Phillips; children Douglas Phillips and Rex Phillips Sr. and siblings Othel Phillips and Doris Mott. Mr. Phillips is survived by his children Shelly (Kirstopher Clark) Green; grandchildren Rex (Anya) Phillips, Lindsey Mort, April Meeks, David Green, Lillian Green, Jillian Green and Vivian Green as well as 8 great grandchildren.
