Richard C. Frola, 52, of Sorrento, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. He was born January 24, 1962 in Englewood, NJ and moved to Central Florida 32 years ago. He was an Irrigation Technician for Orange County Public School System. Mr. Frola is survived by his mother, Rose Marie Frola; daughters, Angela Frola of Ohio, Janie Frola of Tangerine and Brittan Frola of Tampa; sister, Tina Benaquista; brother, David Frola; grandson, Robert Simmons.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
