Robert "Bob" Charles Devaney, age 48, of Orlando, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Born on August 23, 1964 in Charleston, SC, he worked as a welder. Mr. Devaney is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen M. Devaney; parents, Raymond and Carol Devaney; children, Kaitlin Gordon, Jacqueline Devaney, Robert Devaney, Jr., Randahl Devaney, and Ross Devaney; sister, Christina Bielecki; and brother, Ronald Devaney.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
