Robert Edwin Chandler, 74, of Mt. Dora, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014. He was born June 12, 1940 in Eustis, Florida. He was a Produce Farmer, avid hunter and a Baptist. Mr. Chandler is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Chandler of Mt. Dora; son, Doug Chandler of Mt. Dora; daughters, Debbie Willis of Seville, FL and Laura Tart of Umatilla; brother, John Chandler of Apopka; sister, Carolyn King of Apopka; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Bobby and Theresa have been a special friends to Roger and I through the many years we have known them. Roger has the deepest respect and admiration Bobby for his knowledge and love of farming.
