Robert Francis Linz was born on 01/20/1931 in in the Bronx, New York. Bob’s early years were influenced by the church, both from his schooling as well as serving as an altar boy. He was a Marine and serviced his country for 2 years. Over the years, as a truck driver, Bob worked with many customers. He worked long and hard hours in the service of those customers and to support his family. In his early years he also served as a volunteer fireman in Baldwin NY. In keeping with his strong faith he was an usher for over 35 years as well was a member of the Knights of Columbus for what would have been 60 years this April. In April he would have been married to his wife June for 60 years. He is survived by his daughter Patricia, his son Robert, 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.
