Robert Henry Gray, Sr., 71, of Apopka, Florida, passed away on March 29, 2015. Mr. Gray was born September 29, 1943 in Lexington, KY. He was a Truck Driver. Mr. Gray is survived by his loving children Robert Gray, Jr., William Gray, Kristy Wagner; siblings Terri Burks, William Gray, Judith Trammell, Norma Scalca, Sharon Cottrell, Deborah Smith, Raymond Gray, Betty Hanks; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
