Robert (Bob) Terry, Sr. passed away peacefully, in his home on October 27th. Bob, 81, was born in Mt. Vernon, New York, to George Terry Sr. and Sonia Suni-Terry. The family moved to Florida when he was very young. In Florida, Bob spent his time in Central Florida on the family’s cattle ranch and in Venice, Florida. He graduated from Boone High School in 1956, then went on to attend Florida State University. Bob went on to create a name for himself as a Realtor, first in Connecticut, then Florida and finally in Sonoma County California. He won numerous awards and accolades for being a Top salesman. Bob was also an avid classic car collector, winning many awards at car shows in California and across Florida.
Bob was pre-deceased by one brother, George Terry Jr. He is survived by his loving Husband, Willy G. Boey; brother, David Terry, and sister, Ilona (Sugar) Terry-Jaffe. Bob is survived by 3 children, Robert Terry Jr, Dee Anne Terry (spouse Cindy Collins) and Dawn Terry-Abel (spouse Eric). He also was proud to have 6 grandchildren, Lauren Mize, Cameron Abel, Dustin Abel, Ashleigh Abel, Clayton Abel and Robert Terry III, and 4 great-grandchildren; Noah Griffin, Cora Abel, Georgia Greene and Ralph Abel.
