It seems like only yesterday we were riding in the station wagon headed to Long John Silver's for Friday night supper, or gathering at the table for Popeye's Fried Chicken after church on Sunday afternoon. I loved listening to your stories about the taxi cab, air boating, fishing with the family and seeing that big smile when you talked the old days. After we ate you and I would ALWAYS be the first ones into the desserts or ice cream. The last few days that we shared together you were still eating ice cream. I will never have another ice cream buddy like you.It has been only a few days and I miss you so much already. It is hard to fight back the tears as I write this, but I know that I must be strong for the family. I love you grandpa.
