Roger Allen Williams, 65, of Sanford, Florida passed away on September 19, 2024. Mr. Williams was born on September 07, 1959 in Aurora, Illinois. Mr. Williams was an dedicated Iron Worker for over 45 years and loved his job. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his biological father Carl Fredrick Williams Sr; father Chuck Abell Sr; brother Albert Williams; as well as nephew Robert Hawkins. He is survived by his loving wife Wanda L. Williams; mother Geneva Faye Abell; children Crystal Adams, Cristy Hairston, Tiffany Adams and Natasha Ball; grandchildren Ariana, Brian, Luke, Devin, Paige, Christopher, Natalie, Sophia, Kaitlyn, Jonathan, Aaliyah, Landon, Lillian and Chloe; as well as his siblings Carl Williams, Karmel Hawkins, Chuck Abell, Megan Torres and Nanette Fountain. He will be missed by his many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
