Roger R. Webb, age 67, passed away peacefully on April 16th at his Sorrento home with his wife. Roger fought a long hard courageous battle with cancer and he never gave up. Roger had more courage than anyone could imagine. He had unwavering faith in God. Roger said many times that if it hadn’t been for everyone’s prayers and his faith in God that he would of never of had the strength to battle this awful disease. Roger was so right. Roger was born on June 2, 1952 in St Petersburg, Florida. His family moved to Winter Park, then Longwood in the late 50’s. Roger graduated from Lyman High School in 1970. Roger was a Lifetime Moose member, Lifetime NRA member and a member of the RNC. Roger attended church at The Cross of Mt Dora. Roger was baptized on Easter last year 2019. Roger said that this was the one of the greatest days of his life. Becoming one with the Lord. Roger lived life to the fullest. He loved all the simple things in life. Roger loved his wife, family and friends more than anything. Roger had many great adventures and experiences with his family and friends. There was never a dull moment with him around. Everyone loved to be around him. Roger was a self-employed entrepreneur. Roger knew something about everything. He was a custom home builder, landlord, raised exotic birds, built 3 cabins on the river, sold firewood, sold Smoked Mullet (he made the best smoked fish ever) he loved working on his land building trails and roads and making it beautiful. Roger could fix anything. Roger loved to travel with his wife Kim. They enjoyed many a great adventures together. Roger enjoyed hunting (mostly looking), fishing, camping, hiking and anything outdoors. Roger was one with nature. Roger had a passion for life and loved spending time with his family more than anything. Roger was the best husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather ever. He had so much fun with his children and their children. They all loved to play with him. Roger had a great life, full of love. He is leaving behind a great Legacy for all of us. We were all so blessed to have had him in our lives and in our hearts. He made a difference in all of us. Roger taught us all allot about love, strength and endurance for life and to keep the faith and to have faith in yourself and God.
Roger is survived by his wife/best friend Kim, of 37 years. 3 fine sons. Kenric Webb, his wife Stacy, Casey Webb, his wife Cathy, Sonny Webb, his wife Cassie. He had 8 Grandchildren: Savanna, Dylan, Kennedy, Braden, Ashton, Madelyn (Maddie), Ellie & James and 1 Great Grandchild, Lucas. Roger is survived by his father Joseph Webb, brother, Larry Webb and his wife Debbie, Sister-in-law, Marti and many nieces and nephews. Mother-in-law, Doris Underwood (mom #2) Roger is preceded in death by his Mother, Katheryn Elizabeth Webb, Brother Jimmy Joe Webb, everyone who knew him loved him. Roger will always have a special place in all our hearts. Roger was so proud of his family and his life that he had and we were so proud of him. Roger will be deeply missed but will be in all our hearts forever!! Roger will never be forgotten!!
