Russell Dennis Krone, 69, of Apopka, Florida passed away on December 27, 2023. Mr. Krone was born on September 25, 1954 in Lakeland, Florida to the late Paul and Ethel Krone. He is survived by his loving wife Kelly Krone; children Corey (Aaron) Jansen and Denny (Ashley Steele) Krone; siblings Paula Sue Krone, Jeffrey Krone and Thomas Krone; as well as his grandchildren Kinsey Jansen and Hayden Jansen. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Apopka where he joyfully served in music ministry; as well as a Deacon Leader. He was also a Past Master of the Orange Lodge #36. He will be dearly missed by his many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
