82, of Altamonte Springs, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. He was born April 22, 1932 in New Jersey and has lived in Apopka since 1972. He has been in the horse business since the age of 14 as a Driver, Breeder and Trainer. Mr. Lewis was the Owner of Rolling Hills Farm in both Apopka, Fl and Montgomery, NY; he was a former Chairman of the Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival; winner of Hamiltonion and he started training horses at Ben White Raceway in 1968. Mr. Lewis is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Lewis; children, Karen Lewis New of Apopka, Donald P. Lewis of Ocala and Michael G. Lewis of Paris, France; grandchildren, Brenton M. New of Apopka and Marc Akther of Melbourne, Australia; sister, Marylin Maxwell of Pinebluff, NC and brother, Howard Lewis of Hallstead, PA.
