The first time I met Sam was in November, 1986 at Daytona International Raceway. He and Brenda were volunteers that came to work the race. I was there just to visit and be with Gordon, my husband who worked for IMSA, for that race weekend. Sam and Brenda were helping in Tech. I spent most of my time in the tech office talking on and off with Sam and Brenda. Sam was always such a loving and giving person. Always telling jokes and making people laugh and smile. I got to know he and Brenda very well over the years as my husband worked for IMSA. When I would go to the races after that first time in Daytona, the first couple of people I always saw was Sam and Brenda. Never one without the other. He was a great guy and he will be missed very much. Sending our thoughts and prayers to Brenda and all of the family during this most difficult time. May God wrap his loving arms around you all and give you the strength that you need now and forever. Gordon and Pamela Gratiot

I am so sorry to see that Mr. Holland has passed away in death. Please accept my family's condolences. May your hearts find peace and comfort from the Bible's promise at John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 and Psalm chapter 37 verse 29 which tells of a hope that we can be reunited once again with our loved ones who have died.
