Samuel Ethridge Huffstutler, II (AKA Pawpaw)
Born August 15, 1943 in Guntersville, Alabama and went to be with our Lord on May 1, 2016.
Sam passed peacefully of cancer, while being surrounded by his loving family. He was 72 years old. He was the father of 4 children with his beautiful wife Lillie of 52 years. He lost his wife to cancer almost 2 years ago and he missed her dearly.
Sam was a very hard worker and he had a very long career in air conditioning. He provided well for his family so his wife could stay home and raise their children. He had 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed playing video games with his wife and grandchildren.
We often suspected he might be a secret agent because he could sneak up on you and touch you and you would have no clue anyone was around at all. He did not speak a whole lot, but was always listening and watching others. He could speak several languages, even though we could not understand them. And when he did speak, it was always wise to listen to him because his words were always full of wisdom. I guess we'll never know for sure.
We are thankful to know his faith in the Lord was strong. He impacted many with his kindness, generosity and loving spirit. He will always hold a special place in our hearts that could never be replaced. He will be missed dearly.
