Samuel Wesley Hancock, Sr., age 91, of Apopka, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014. He was born on April 06, 1923 in Brook, Indiana. Mr. Hancock, Sr. moved to the Central Florida area 50 years ago from Tennessee. He was a Baptist and worked in the construction industry.
Mr. Hancock, Sr. is survived by his loving children, Samuel W. Hancock, Jr., Sundee Preedy, Sharon Tyler, Thomas Hancock, Steve Hancock, Shirley Hancock, Gary French, and Glenn French; eighteen grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
