Sharon Smirti was the matriarch of her loving family. She leaves behind a husband (Peter), two children (Joey and Denise), five grandchildren(Jeremy, Logan, Bryce, Zach, and Brandon), four step-grandchildren (Destiny, Sierra, Alannis, and Dalton), three great-grandchildren(Leo, Oliver, and Lily), and two brothers (Bill and Jeff).
She spent 18 years working as a teacher while she raised her two children. There, she developed amazing friendships that would last a lifetime. After moving to Central Florida, she became a Park Ranger at Kelly Park, where she would stay for 22 years. She once again made wonderful, lifetime friends. She loved teaching kids. She also loved being in nature at Kelly Park. She would frequently explore the park and take in all the peace and beauty that it had to offer. The only thing she loved more was her grandkids. The love she had for Jeremy, Logan, Bryce, Zach, and Brandon was boundless.
She now joins her parents Selma and Gus in heaven.

Praying for Sharon’s family. I only got to meet her once, but she left a lasting impression. I will never forget how kind and welcoming she and her husband was to a complete stranger wanting a piece of wood from her great great grandmothers home.
