Teodoro “Ted” Mota Jr, 64, of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on October 28, 2021. Mr. Mota was born on July 08, 1957 in Adrian, Michigan to the late Teodoro and Amelia Mota. He is survived by wife Carmen Mota; children Melissa Mota, Sally Mota, Lori Mota and TJ (Monica) Mota; siblings Maria Mendez, Alice Mota, Andrea Martinez, Virginia Casarez and Rosa Mota; grandchildren Angela, Catalina, Destiny, Breanna, Erika, Nito, Stevie, Juju, Natalia, Jesyda, Joel, Bella, Miranda, Ciara, Dezmariah and Josiah as well as many extended family, loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
