Timothy Alvin Yerger, 53, from Cocoa, FL (formerly from Middleburg, PA), born November 23, 1964 the son of Roy Yerger Jr. and Shirley Witmer passed away at home December 28, 2017.
Tim was a hard worker who enjoyed remodeling properties, working outside, shooting pool, fishing, and spending time with his family and his girlfriend, Dawn Butler, of Cocoa, FL. He loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Heidi, with whom he shared life with until she passed away in December 2015. He worked the past nine years with Broad Spectrum where he made many life long friends.
In addition to his parents and girlfriend, Tim is survived by two sons, Justin Yerger of Middleburg, PA and Brandon Yerger of Nashville, TN; one daughter, Dusti & son-in-law Jeff Onavage of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA; one stepdaughter Francheska Ortiz of Cocoa, FL; one sister, Lynne Kratzer of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Kenneth & sister-in-law Denise Yerger of Selinsgrove, PA and Arden & sister-in-law Myrtle Yerger of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA; one half sister Robin Parker-Herrold & her husband Matt of Middleburg, PA; four nieces & two nephews; and five great nieces & three great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother Nancy Yerger, step-father Larry Witmer, and brother-in-law Randy Kratzer.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Tim’s name to the American Lung Association. A memorial service will be held in Cocoa, FL and will be announced at a later date.
