Walter Hugh Ledford a Florida native, never married, the youngest of three children. He was a home body that enjoyed televised sports, games shows, Christian programs and of course the news; especially when NASA had launches planned. He loved the space program and was a collector to most only of space exploration books, posters, t-shirts and newspaper articles, but he collected memorabilia of all sorts from the Beatles, the Wizard of Oz, and baseball cards. He was a caring man who loved his family deeply and he will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his father Walter G. Ledford and his brother in law Michael Hidle. Mr. Ledford is survived by his mother Della Colene Ledford; sisters Elaine Hidle and Alice Master, their 13 children, 29 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
