Wayne Nesmith, 64, of Umatilla, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. He was born September 12, 1949 in Metter, Georgia. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator/Mechanic. Mr. Nesmith was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Kicklighter. Mr. Nesmith is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Faye Nesmith; parents, James Edward and Wylan Yvonne Nesmith; children, Ashley Chalker, Sasha Locke (Tanner Guess), Randy Locke, Wayne "CJ" Nesmith, Jr. and Jessica Morris; sisters, Tammy Evans, Darlene Hughes, Teresa Chalker, Denise Baldre, Mary Statts, Debbie Durett and Darnell (Bob) Barnett; grandchildren, Kiley Haugland, Savannah Morris, Krista Morris, Kaedince Locke, Randy Locke, Jr., Brooklyn Locke, Tanner Guess and Tucker Guess; and his beloved dogs, Daisy Duke and Momo.
