Wesley James Arp, 29 of Deltona, FL passed away March 29, 2016. Mr. Arp was born November 5, 1986 in Jacksonville, FL. Wes is survived by his loving wife Francis Danielle Perez of Deltona, FL; parents Charisse Feliberti of Grand Island, FL and Wesley Ray Arp of Jacksonville, FL and son Kian Lucas-Robert Arp of Deltona, FL.
Wesley served in the United States Navy for 6 years as a reservist. His time in the Navy included a call to war during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served in Iraq in 2008 for 9 months. Wesley was a patriotic man, and being a part of something bigger than himself with lasting effect, was such a source of pride for him.
Upon his return home, Wes bought his first house in Deltona, FL, and shortly thereafter he founded American Residential Property Inspections a business that he owned and operated for the last three years. While building the business, Wesley took an opportunity to help with the construction of the Orlando Eye, another monumental undertaking.
Wesley spent most of his free time with family and friends telling stories, espousing his opinions, and generally being the life of the party. He met his wife Francis while living in Deltona. In May of 2015 their son Kian was born into their loving family. Kian, like his father, is energetic, happy, and has the same big smile that can light up the darkest room. Wesley was a loving father who emphasized the importance of family. He will be sorely missed by everyone who was ever fortunate enough to meet him.

There are no words I can say that will ease your pain. Just know that we are hear for you. My memories of Wesito are as a happy go lucky boy with a big smile and big eyes. The Lord is now holding him in his arms and made him an angel to watch over you. Keep his memory alive for you, his wife and his son.

I’m deeply saddened to read the news today. My prayers cover his family and friends for peace, comfort and healing. I had the blessing to wait on this fine young man at the bank where I worked. When his bright eyes and sweet smile met me, he leaned in and whispered, “I JUST got off the plane from Iraq!” I bowed my head, cried, took his hand and thanked him. He smiled back, and said, ”I know.” On other visits, we shared the joy of his plans for a home and marriage. He will be missed, and I’m thankful to hold a place in my heart for him. God bless you, sweet child. You touched lives. You are loved.
