Willard Randolph Arnold was born March 09, 1925, in Round Lake, Florida, and passed away in Cumming, Georgia, on November 28, 2018. He was a World War II veteran, serving as a radio operator in the Pacific Rim. He finished his naval service in Miami, where he met and married Virginia Ely in 1946. After attending school in Chicago, he and Virginia settled again in the south. He ultimately landed in the electronic parts business, and purchased his own company in Orlando, Florida. He remained president of Sun Electronics until his retirement in 1989. Before relocating to the Atlanta area in 2011, Willard was active in his church, First Baptist Church Sanlando Springs, where he served as a deacon and took part in the Tuesday morning Men’s Breakfast Group. He also enjoyed building model airplanes and tinkering in his woodworking shop. He was an avid walker. Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Alma Arnold, his wife of 63 years, Virginia, brother George Arnold and sister Letha Purvis. He is survived by his three children Dale (Denise) Arnold of Green Cover Springs, Florida, Mark Arnold of Altamonte Springs, Florida and Anita (Steven) Damon of Johns Creek, Georgia; four grandchildren Lee Arnold, Susan Arnold, Leah (Stephen) Charette and Hannah Damon and siblings Kenneth Arnold and Sharon Smith.
