Mr. William “Bill” Adam Janouskovec

d. December 21, 2018

William “Bill” Adam Janouskovec, 75, passed away on December 21, 2018 at his home in Eustis after a short illness.  His funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at First Church of Christ in Eustis where he was a member.

Bill was born on September 15, 1943 in Painesville, Ohio.  He worked most of his life as an autobody mechanic until he retired to Florida in 2000.  In his spare time he enjoyed attending estate sales, perusing flea markets and garage sales, and spending time at casinos.  He also enjoyed gardening and always had a beautiful yard.  Bill met his wife, June, at a dance held at Painesville Township park in 1985.  They were married the following year and have been inseparable ever since.  You generally never saw one without the other.  Bill was a quite jovial individual and always enjoyed a good joke.  Recently he heard the joke, “why do blondes write TGIF on the tip of their shoes? – because toes go in first.”  This became his favorite joke, and he retold it to nearly everyone he knew.

Bill is survived by his wife of 33 years June Janouskovec, brother Richard Janouskovec and wife Pat, two sons Jason Janouskovec and fiancé Jennifer and Nicholas Janouskovec and wife Amanda.  Three grandsons Zachary Janouskovec and fiancé Annah, William Janouskovec, and Jasper Janouskovec.  Two granddaughters Fallon Fraser and husband Nathan and Kayla Langhoff. Two great grandsons Thomas Smeltzer and Lincoln Janouskovec and one great granddaughter Emilia Fraser.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Elizabeth Janouskovec, a brother Frank Robert Janouskovec, and mother-in-law Idabel Keeney.
