William (Bill) J. Durney, 77, of Orlando, Florida passed away on July 03, 2022. Mr. Durney was born on October 04, 1944 to the late James and Helen Durney in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Durney is preceded in death by his siblings Dave Durney and Dan Durney. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Mary Durney; children Brian Durney, Kerri O’Donnell and Katie Henry; siblings Nora Manahan and Jim Durney; grandchildren Kaitlin, Brooke, Abby, J.W., Megan, Aly and Eli.
Per Bill’s wishes his wife, children, and grandchildren will privately honor him.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Bill and I enjoyed more than one Jameson together and he thoroughly shared with me his distaste for adding mixers to our Irish delight.
