WILLIAM “BILLY RAY” MEISEL, 87, of Orange City, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013. Born September 19, 1926 in Forgan, Oklahoma and moved to Central Florida in 1989. He was a Police Officer, WWII Veteran serving in the US Navy, retired from the US Coast Guard, Life Member of VFW post 10147, Life Member of BPOE # 2163 and Life Member Retired Armed Forces Association. Mr. Meisel is survived by his loving wife, Ellen M. Mattox Meisel of Orange City; sons, Carl E. (Barnell) Meisel, Michael D. (Debra) Meisel, Gregory S. (Robbie) Meisel; daughter, Janice M. (Wayne) Crow; step son, Scott (Ginny) Mattox; stepdaughters, Christine Mattox, Kathy (Robert) Coury and Susan Goddard; brothers, Jim Meisel and James Meisel; sisters, Marilyn (John) Notestine and Janet (Ken) Enright; 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
