BONEBREAK, ALMA, (BROUWER),
With the greatest of sorrow we announce our beloved Alma passed on January 1, 2017, at the age of 103, at Wellsprings Residence in Apopka, Florida. Alma was born on October 21, 1913 in Muskegon, Michigan to Jacob and Klascina Brouwer. Alma is proceeded in death by two wonderful husbands, George Wythe and Max Bonebreak: by her sister Gertrude and her brothers, Norman, Clarence and Robert. Alma leaves behind a loving family including her sisters, Betty Brouwer Whitham Humphries and half-sister, Linda Brouwer Carrigan; her four step-sons, Rodney, (Mary) Dennis, Kevin (Jeannie) and Craig Bonebreak; her sister-in-laws, Thara and Sue Bonebreak and many, nieces, nephews and cousins that will miss her deeply. Alma had many, many lifelong friends that will miss her also. The last love of Alma’s life is her longtime friend, Hank Wipior whom she knew since 1947. Their longtime friendship took them through many adventures as married friends and then as friends helping each other through the losses of their spouses. Hanks children Kristin and Kurt will miss her also as they were a part of her life for many years. She profoundly treasured all the many memories she experienced with all her family and friends. Alma was a “True Lady.” She had a strong spirit to live each day as if it were her last. She brought much pleasure to all around her with her smile, wit, kindness and knowledge of those experiences she had lived. She traveled the world, was a gifted artist, sculptor, writer of poetry, gourmet cook and an avid reader. Her love for her family and friends was constant and she expressed it frequently. Per her request there will be no formal services in her honor. She just wanted everyone to remember all the “Good Times.” Loomis Funeral Home in Apopka, Florida will be handling her cremation.
