Ann D. Lackey, 65, of Tavares, Florida passed away on December 31, 2023. Mrs. Lackey was born on August 04, 1958 in North Kansas City, Missouri to the late Max and Helen Jacoby. She is preceded in death by her daughter Stephanie Ann Lackey. She is survived by her loving husband Rocky Lackey; children Andria (Vance) Roberts, Justin (Brittany) Lackey and Sean (Alexis) Lackey; grandchildren Chase Lackey, Hannah Roberts, Sandrecka Roberts, Max Lackey, Grayson Lackey, Mia Lackey and Christian Lackey. As well as many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
