Mrs. Annell K. Meeks

Annell Kirkland Meeks – November 28, 1926. Native Apopkan. She never in her 94 years lived anyplace but Apopka and also owned Apopka Wheel and Tire. She was married to her loving husband James Edward (AKA Jimmy) Meeks. They had 5 children; Carolyn Doster, Pat (Esmond) Hilton, Glenda (Steve) Kelly; preceded in death were James Ronald and Lee Wayne. She left behind 7 grandchildren; Anne Long, James Hilton, Joe Hilton, Jonathan Hilton, Jason Hasty, Tracy DeCamper, and Megan Kelly; her great grandchildren Trevor Ruth, Cale Ruth, Devlin Gloyd, Josiah Hilton, Halyn Hilton, Gracyn Hilton, Ansley Hilton, Skylar Hasty, Trina Powers, Jose DeCamper, Max DeCamper, Elisasa DeCamper; great great grandchild Madelyn Hasty Hutchison. Annell left behind one sister, Estelle (Buford) Tyson. She was preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Al Kirkland; sons Ronnie and Wayne Meeks; granddaughter Elena Doster Gore; Sister Anna Mae (Howard) Goolsby and Carrie Lee (L.J) Cannon. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.
