Arlene Myrtle Gibbs, 77, of Zellwood, passed away Thursday, May 01, 2014. She was born August 05, 1936 in Norfolk, Virginia. She was an Administrative Assistant in the Education Industry. Mrs. Gibbs was preceded in death by her husband. Donald Gibbs. Mrs. Gibbs is survived by her children, Donald Gibbs, Jr of Milwaukee, WI, Cheryl Worsman of New Hampshire and Michael Gibbs of Milwaukee, WI; 6 grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

So sorry to hear of Arlene's passing. We only heard of this today and also that Husband Don has already passed on, this came as quite a shock to us also.We are winter acquaintances from the past. I did not know Arlene personally, but I wanted to express my deepest sympathy for you family. At times like this,I have personally found Jesus Christ's words at John 5:28,29 to be truly comforting. There he promised that "the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…to a resurrection of life."
