AURORA V. LUPO, age 89, of Apopka, passed away Saturday, July 06, 2013. She was born August 9, 1923 in Erie, PA. She moved to Central Florida 6 years. She was a Roman Catholic; a cosmetologist; member of the Italian American Women as well as many other organizations. Mrs. Lupo is survived by her children, Mary Frances Mancuso of Apopka and Thomas Lupo of Orlando; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
