Barbara Ann Daugherty, 80, of Orlando, Florida passed away on November 27, 2022. Mrs. Daugherty was born on January 10, 1942 to the late Columbus and Gracie Hembrei in La Follette, Tennessee. Mrs. Daugherty is preceded in death by her loving husband David A. Daugherty; as well as siblings Earl, Leonard, Lonzo, Jimmy, Bill, Hazel, Edith, Marylou, Christina, Margie, Marie and Betty. She is survived by her children David A. Daugherty and Tamara Daugherty. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Grandma Daughtery as those in Kindergarten knew her was loved by all. She always wanted to bring joy and sweets to the students for any occasion. She has left her mark of love on countless kids and adults and will be missed.
