Beryl E.S. Ramsay, age 85, of Apopka, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013. Beryl was born to Christian parents, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and was baptized 55 years ago. Regular pioneered over 40 years both in Jamaica and in this country. Her ministry was very fruitful. Beryl helped over 30 people to dedication and baptism. She loved people, was always hospitable, patient, generous, kind, and always ready to help others, both spiritually and materially. Beryl was truly a modern day Dorcas. She treated brothers, sisters, and neighbors with empathy. Beryl is greatly missed by the congregation and neighbors. She was a living example of faithfulness to Jehovah, her husband, family and congregation. Beryl believed whole heartedly that one day this earth will be a paradise where death will be no more.
Mrs. Ramsay is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Ramsay; daughter, Cheryl (Serf) Ramsay-Regis; siblings, Michael (Myrtle) Douglas and Adoil Douglas; and grandchildren, Philip and Tia.
