Bettie Jane Pelling, age 76, of Winter Garden, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014. She was born on November 11, 1937 in Apopka to Myrtle and Elmer Stringham. Mrs. Pelling worked in the retail industry. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred Pelling.
Mrs. Pelling is survived by her children, James (Donna) Pelling of Altoona, Teresa (Kirby) Smith of Groveland, Deborah (Clayton) Sullivan of Apopka, Kathy (Steven) Ellis of Winter Garden; siblings, Joyce Farber of Apopka, Winona Stringham of Lake City, Ruffus Stringham; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:00AM. Both will be held at Loomis Family Funeral Home Chapel 420 West Main Street Apopka, FL 32712. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice 2075 Loch Lomond Drive, Winter Park, FL 32792.
