Carmen G. Mendez, 93, of Apopka, Florida passed away on September 19, 2022. Mrs. Mendez was born on February 10, 1929 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mrs. Mendez is preceded in death by her loving husband Julio L. Mendez Torres; father of her children Diego Rivera Baez Sr.; as well as her sons Diego Rivera Jr. and Juan Bautista Rivera. She is survived by her daughter Margery (Wenceslao) Flores; siblings Minerva Rosado, Orlando Sanchez and Evelyn Sanchez; grandchildren Peggy Rivera, Renato Rivera, Angelique Rivera, Carmen G. Rivera, Eric Flores, Alexander Flores, Samuel Flores, Wenceslao Flores III and Christopher Flores; as well as 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She will be missed by her many loved ones and friends.
