Mrs. Carol R. Adams, 69, of Apopka, FL, passed away July 13, 2014. She was born May 09, 1944 in Brooks County, Georgia. She was a waitress. Mrs. Adams is survived by her loving children Dewayne of Texas, Kathy and Mark of North Carolina, Billy, Richard and Robert of Florida, Johnny of California, Pam of Virginia; siblings Ethel and Glenda of Florida, Laverne and Joyce of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
