Mrs. Carolyn Horton Jones

Carolyn Horton Jones of South Boston, Virginia passed away May 17, 2022. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on December 26, 1943, and was 78 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Herman Horton and the late Marybelle Beck Horton. She enjoyed a long happy marriage with Wallace Wayne Jones. Carolyn loved her children and grandchildren, going on cruises and gambling. Carolyn loved her life and lived it to the fullest. Mrs. Jones is survived by her children Wanda Sue Jones of South Boston, Johnny Wayne (Lisa) Jones of Orlando, Florida; her three grandchildren Melissa (David) Flaherty of South Boston, Donnie (Carly) Jones of Orlando, Florida, and Phillip Jones of Orlando, Florida; her great grandchildren Luna Lore and Liam Flaherty; and three brothers Freddie Horton and Robert Horton of Kentucky, and Ronnie Horton of Florida. She is preceded in death by her great granddaughter Carolyn Delaney Lore and siblings Ralph Horton, Marie Horton, Billy Horton and Larry Horton.

A graveside service will be held at Edgewood Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka, Florida on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at 3:00PM followed by a celebration of life service at U-Lounge inside Hilton Altamonte located at 350 Northlake Boulevard, Altamonte Springs at 4:30PM.
