Charlotte Evelyn Taylor, 75, of Apopka, passed way Saturday, October 18, 2014. She was born December 03, 1938 in Indiana. She was a Clerk for Walgreens. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Melisa (Michael) Brooks of Apopka, Lori Adams of Astatula and Michael Idlewine of Apopka; sisters, Nancy and Mary Ann; brother, Phillip Asbury; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
