Mrs. Charlotte Marie Abele

Charlotte Marie Abele (Davis) was born on December 28th, 1955 in Salem, Florida in the Baptist Purity Church parish. The Davis family moved to Apopka, Florida in 1959. She attended Apopka High School and in 1973 married Ferman Jones. She had 2 children Robert “Toby” Jones (74) and Chastity Jones (78). She divorced in 1981. Charlotte met Douglas Abele in 1988, they had one child Cory Abele (94) and were married in 2000 because she couldn’t say no to Doug anymore. She worked mainly as a supervisor at Natural Beauty for 18 years and Knox Nursery for 11 years before retiring due to health. They built a home in Mt Plymouth in 2005. Charlotte enjoyed working in her immaculate yard and stubbornly did so longer than she was able to. She has been on hospice care since Dec 2018 and passed away at home with her family by her side on August 25th, 2019 at 9:55 am. She did not wish to have a memorial or viewing and there will be a family memorial gathering later.
