DELORIS “DEE” SEGRAVES, 68, of Gotha passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013. She was born May 04, 1945 in Nashville, GA. She was a Manufacturer in the Fishing industry. Mrs. Segraves was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby. Mrs. Segraves is survived by her loving daughters, Celena Sirois of Orlando, Sherry (Don) Parrish of Lakeland and Brenda Luft of Lakeland; brother, Thomas Metts of Winter Garden and sister Joyce Ward of Apopka.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
