Dolly Hutching, 89, of Tavares, Florida, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She was born June 12, 1925 in Mount Dora, FL. Mrs. Hutching was a Business Owner in the Horticulture Industry and later she became a Home Healthcare Aid. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and telling stories about life. She is survived by her children Tommy (Shirley) Hutching, Ocala, FL, Alvin & (Sharon) Hutching, Apopka, FL, Allen (Barbara) Hutching, Tavares, FL, Jerome (Ginny) Hutching, Apopka, FL, Carolyn Jackson, Birmingham, AL, Sandy (Martin) Farnsworth, Tyler, TX; brother Buddy Childers, Apopka, FL; 14 grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
