RILES, DOLORES L. “LOKIE”, 82, of Orlando, passed away On July 3, 2013. She was born in Charleston, SC. Preceded in death by her husband, James B. Riles, Sr; daughter, Brenda J. Muniz; son, James B. Riles, Jr. Survived by her daughters, Jo L. Darte (Walt) of Slidell, LA, Katherine A. Echenique (Ralph) of Ladson, SC, Patricia J. Bailey (Roger) of Orlando; sons, Michael T. Riles of Atlanta, GA, John P. Riles (Sherry) of Mount Laurel, NJ, David M. Riles (Marie) of Logan, OH; 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
