Donarene Mae VanIerland, 68, of Apopka, passed away Saturday, May 03, 2014. She was born January 26, 1946 in Wayne, Michigan. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. VanIerland is survived by her daughter, Lori Lara and son, Paul.

My Mom, loving and kind, giving and very self-sacrificing. She loved well. She loved everyone. She would tell me (even recently), "Lori, there are no disposable people." Simply said –and she meant it. I loved and still love my Mom. While watching her lie there in the hospital bed, I sang her the song by Joe Crocker, "You Are So Beautiful (To Me)" and I truly saw that in her. Her beauty, far beyond words, as nothing adorned her on the outside, yet nothing could have radiated more than what came from within her. Thank you Mom for redefining what is beautiful. Thank you Lord for really letting me see her as you do –as she was, wholly Yours, fully radiant, full of love for her "people" and fully beautiful. Her life, painstakingly left us dismayed sometimes, as we watched her care for my dad for 20 years in the home, giving up her "right" to be free, to go and do as most of us do. However, she is free now. She is free and healthy too. Dance, Dance My Love in fields of flowers. Shining brighter than the sun, Standing closer to the Son. My Mother, my Love, My Friend and the one I will long to see again one day. Lord, until then, when you call me home too, please take good care of my Mom and give her kisses from me, –I love her so. Thank you Lord for being ever so gracious and good to our family. We don't have great riches here on earth, but I truly feel that we do have great riches in store for us. Let every prayer ever spoken over our family come to fruition and draw us all closer to you and to your presence so that we may be radiant you as well in this life time. I love you Lord, and I am so thankful for this wonderful woman that you loaned to us for such a little time –68 years, enough time for us to learn how to love well as she did.
