Doris Lafayette Youngblood , 76 of Apopka Florida passed away on August 29th, 2024. Doris was born on September 29th, 1947 in Elba, Alabama to the late Elmer and Lilly Williams. She is preceded in death by 4 Sisters; 3 Brothers; Daughter Dorothy Reid; grandchildren: Anthony Steven Reid , Sarah Reid and Jacqueline Beverley.
She is survived by her Daughter Mary Therese(Chris Petty) Williams of Apopka Fl ; Sons Troy (Angela)Williams of Orlando, Fl , Ronnie(Heather) Beverley of Harrisburg, Pa , And Billy(Brittany Findley) Beverley of Mount Verde, Fl ; 13 Grand Children ; 27 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild ; Sister Lorene Kelley ; Brother Charles Williams and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many loved ones and friends.

Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Aunt Doris, how do I say goodbye to you, when you’re engraved into my youthful memories, all the way through our constant exchanging of memes and nature photos, and family milestones on Facebook? You were close enough to my age that you made my childhood memories standout with memories of watching y’all getting dressed up to go out as teens, to being our chaffron when we were teens. Seeing your strength you showed through your struggles, losses and health issues made me realize what STRENGTH we Williams women have had passed down to us!
And when there were moments of shared sorrow of grief that only us Mother’s of Angels can understand, I could count on you, sometimes more than those closest to me, to understand my pain, because you had been there. I’m going to miss so much about you, but I’m going to miss that Williams Strength and Will you exhibited more than anything.
You were my “Role Model” in that, and I LOVE YOU FOR THAT!!!

I can not imaging not heaven you hear on Earth. To know you was to love you i could always count on you to somehow turn a bad situation into it ok situation, you always knew the words to flip that around Your knowledge was amazing and i learned so much from you I always knew that when you was around or on the phone that i was loved and the time you invested in me Oh how blessed i was As much as i glad your in heaven with your daughter i simply dont know how life for the rest of us will be ok It hard to believe that you have gained your wings I am sure you be the perfect angel as you was the perfect Aunt Love you always
