Dorothy A. Del Col, 96, of Apopka, Florida, passed away February 24, 2018. She was born April 21, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Del Col is preceded in death by her parents Michael Kaczorowski and Theodozia Kaczorowski; husband Aldo A. C. Del Col a WWII Veteran and were married for 60 years; son Dr. Jeffery A. Del Col; siblings William Kaczorowski, Carl Stonska and Mary Ronco. She is survived by her children Cynthia (Frank) Hibler, Deborah Ann (Thomas) Lawson and daughter in law Carol Del Col; grandchildren Laura (Chris) Brown, Stephan Del Col and Zachary (Racheal) Lawson. Mrs. Del Col worked before her marriage for the County of Cuyahoga in Cleveland, Ohio as a translator and secretary for the Department of Health. She was a home maker and devoted mother to her children, always cheerful and always ready for a game of Golf. She and her husband shared a passion for the game. She lived in Independence, Ohio before moving to Fairmont, West Virginia where she and her husband resided until 1982 with a move to Jacksonville, Florida. Upon her husband’s death she built a home next door to her daughter Cynthia in Apopka, Florida. She was a wiz at sewing and creating many beautiful outfits for herself. She loved to bake and enjoyed a good meal. She always had a smile and was a great joker.
Food and Fellowship will be held at the Hibler residence after service.
