Dorothy Faye Posey, 96, of Apopka, Florida, went to be with the Lord February 02, 2017. Mrs. Posey was born September 11, 1920 to the late John and Mattie Hill of Muhlenberg County, KY. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Posey, her son Otis Edwards and daughters Mary Edwards Tromly and Sandra Edwards. Mrs. Posey was a Professional Nurse and served at facilities such as OMHS in Owensboro, KY and The Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. Dorothy moved to Apopka, FL in 1970 and continued providing nursing care to many people until she was 82 years of age. She is survived by her granddaughter Julie (Erik) Ford and Janie Blair, great grandchildren Chantey, Teresa, and Dallas; beloved cousin Ernest Fulkerson; devoted care taker and friend Frank Byrd; step children Benjamin (Maggie) Posey and Barbara Dix; grandchildren Erin (Michael), Ben (Catherine), Renata, Roberta, Ruddie, Chuck Lee; great grandchildren Taylor, Mason, Maverick, Liam, Anabelle, Charlotte, Jacob, Jaeden, Charlie, Graceyn, Charlie Sophia, Dillon.
