Elizabeth “Beth” V. Arnold
06/14/27 ~ 03/04/22
On Friday, March 4th, 2022 Elizabeth “Beth” Arnold peacefully left our world. She was 94 years young. She was born Elizabeth Louise Vosmek on June 14, 1927 in Minneapolis, MN. Beth attended The Academy of the Holy Cross and Marjorie Webster Junior College. She enjoyed playing her violin in the Junior Washington DC Symphony Orchestra. Her many jobs included working at the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the Red Cross in Washington DC and was the Executive Secretary for the Teamsters Local 385 in Orlando, FL where she retired. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church since 1959, the Jaycee’s Women’s Group and American Business Women’s Association.
Her many joys in life included playing bridge, playing the piano & singing, bowling, going to the beach and the mountains, boating and fishing, camping at bluegrass festivals, going to parties, cookouts and traveling abroad which all included going out for lunch or dinner and ordering a Manhatten. She also enjoyed peaceful evenings sitting on the couch with her feet up, looking through her picture window, reading the newspaper or a good book and enjoying a glass of wine and a bowl of buttery popcorn. Loving her country, she was very patriotic and was proud of NASA’s accomplishments. She enjoyed watching every rocket or shuttle that launched.
Mom was funny, fun loving, loved her family, was always interested in what we were doing and was always encouraging. She made a wonderful life for us growing up.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Louise Vosmek, her brothers Thomas and Francis Vosmek,
her husband Forrest Arnold and her grandson Daniel Levesque. She is survived by her daughters Christine (Lou) Sappraicone, Diana (Lance) Mashburn and Teresa (Wayne) Levesque; grandkids Jennifer, Ian, April, Lisa, Shem, Josh and Amber; great-grandkids Stephanie, Cayla, Tina, Kasey, Aaron, Zoey, Jovie, Colin and Owen; and great-great-grandkids Ava and Jackson; and neice Mary Williams.

How much sadder is this world now that she went home but how my memories of her are even sweeter for that
