Ethyle Jane Cole, known by all her friends as Jane, was born on May 14, 1923 in Connellsville, PA to parents Frank and Mary Robbins. She was a graduate of Takoma Academy, Takoma Park, Maryland. On March 24, 1946 she married Gordon William Cole. Married life began in Takoma Park , but in 1953 they moved to Orlando, Florida and built a new home on Big Bear Lake. Jane's passions in life were her faith, God and her family. Jane and Gordon were members of the Forest Lake Seventh Day Adventist Church for more than 50 years. She loved traveling in their motorhome and visiting lighthouses and covered bridges. Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband Gordon, son Frankie, sister Edith (Bob) Gerrard and brother-in-law Kenneth Cole. Mrs. Cole is survived by sons, Fred (Cathie) Cole, Don (Susan) Cole, Vern (Patti) Cole; Grandchildren, Rick, Tina, Angel, Michelle, Janelle, Jeff, Christa; Great Grandchildren, Brooke, Blair, Anika, Joey, Breanna, Joslyn, Ian, Arianna; Sister, Mildred (Merle) Landis; Brothers, Frank (Millie) Robbins, Charles (Carolyn) Robbins, Clifford (Georda) Robbins, John (Mary) Robbins; Sister-In-Law: Dottie Cole; Many nieces and nephews.
