Poem: God’s Promise and the Broken Chain

By Melody Mabe

God Never promised life without pain, Laughter without tears or Sun without rain. But he did Promise Strength for the day, comfort for the way, and light for the way, and for all who believe, in his Son and heaven, he rewards their faith in his everlasting love!

Little did we know you would be taken that day, the day God called you by name, Gayle in life we loved you and in death we do the same? It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone for part of us was with you, while Jesus came personally with his host of angels to carry you home!  Our Family Chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain links again!

You are gone but not forgotten and your love and memories will forever be in our hearts! We love you Gayle Johnson!
