Grace Virginia Hogan, 77, of Apopka, Florida passed away on November 05, 2023. Mrs. Hogan was born on December 15, 1945 in Bonifay, Florida. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Oscar Hogan and son Phillip Hogan. She is survived by her children David Hogan, Gale Smallwood, Tina (Roger) Smallwood and Lisa Smallwood; grandchildren Michelle, Steven, D.J., Jessica and Ryan; great grandchildren Hailey, Sam, Kailey, Liam, Ethan, Emma, Nathan and Sophia; great great grandchildren Samantha and Jordyn. She’ll be dearly missed by her loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
