Gwendollyn S. Herbert, 96, of Zellwood Station, FL, passed away on December 10, 2022 after a long illness at the AdventHealth Care Center in Apopka, FL. Gwen was born on August 23, 1926 in Mansfield, Ohio to Fredrick and Grace Stahlheber. She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 70 plus years, James R. Herbert who grew up in Shelby, OH. In the mid ‘50’s, she and the family relocated to Winter Park, Florida, and later in life, she and Jim traveled around the nation in their R.V. finally coming back to Florida. Gwen is survived by son Mark of Apopka, daughter Laura of Irving, Texas, Jeffrey of Zellwood Station and grandsons Jason and Cody in Texas, Austin in California and granddaughter Maya in Georgia. Gwen was a nurse, an artist, a homemaker, wife and a great Mom. The family will miss her and has many happy memories from over the years.
